Contest Rules « Equestrian Equipment 2025 »

Article 1: ORGANIZATION of the Contest
The company: SARL HORSE DEVELOPMENT – 76B ALLEE DES TILLEULS – 42680 ST MARCELLIN EN FOREZ – France – SIRET 79001949100022 Hereinafter referred to as « the Organizer » Organizes a contest entitled « Equestrian Equipment 2025 », as part of a market study, hereinafter referred to as « the Contest. »

Article 2: Purpose of the Contest
The Contest, which is free and requires no purchase, consists of participating in an online questionnaire accessible at https://sphinxdeclic.com/tiny/a/frz7gjau and asking various questions about the respondent’s relationship with horses, equestrian activities, equipment, purchasing preferences, etc. Questions concerning confidential data (name, first name, contact details) are not mandatory and remain confidential, accessible only to Horse Development and the study sponsor.
As part of the Contest, a random draw will designate the winners among the participants, hereinafter referred to as « the Participants. » Participation in the Contest implies full and unconditional acceptance of these rules, hereinafter referred to as « the Rules. »

Article 3: Dates and Duration
The Contest runs from April 25, 2025, to May 31, 2025, at 12:00 PM. The Organizer reserves the right to shorten or extend the participation period and to postpone any announced date.

Article 4: Participation Conditions & Validity

4-1 Participation Conditions
The Contest is open to all legal adults residing in the USA.
Persons ineligible to participate include:
• Anyone who has collaborated in organizing the Contest,
• Direct family members of such persons,
• Employees of the Organizer,
• Subcontractors of the Organizer and its affiliated companies.
To be considered complete and valid, the online questionnaire must include answers to all mandatory questions as well as the respondent’s full contact details (name, first name, email address, phone number, etc.). Entries by postal mail or any other means will not be considered. No reimbursement claims for participation costs (internet subscription, etc.) may be made to Horse Development.

4-2 Validity of Participation
A Contest entry will be deemed invalid if:
• Any personal information provided (identity, address, etc.) is found to be incorrect,
• The Organizer reserves the right to eliminate any entry that does not comply with the Rules, including incomplete or illegible responses.

Article 5: Selection of Winners
The draw will be conducted by Horse Development using an independent random selection software from among the complete and valid questionnaire responses. Only one prize per physical person is allowed.
Any entry containing false, incorrect, or incomplete statements and/or not complying with these Rules will be considered void.

Article 6: Prizes
Prizes will be awarded in the following order:
• 1st Prize (random draw among participants residing in the USA): 1 competition jacket worth approximately $450 (incl. VAT).
• 2nd & 3rd Prizes (2 prizes, random draw among participants residing in the USA): 1 competition top worth approximately $160 (incl. VAT) each.
• 4th & 5th Prizes (2 prizes, random draw among participants residing in the USA): 1 cap worth approximately $49 (incl. VAT) each.
• 6th & 7th Prizes (2 prizes, random draw among participants residing in the USA): 1 beanie worth approximately $35 (incl. VAT) each.
Total prize value: $938 (incl. VAT).

Prizes will be sent to the winners following a draw managed by Horse Development. Winners will be contacted by email or sms and will have seven business days to claim their prize and provide their complete details to Horse Development for shipment. If a winner does not respond within this period or provides incomplete or incorrect contact details, the prize will be forfeited.
Horse Development reserves the right to change the prizes without notice. If such changes occur, the replacement prize will have an equivalent or higher value. No cash or monetary equivalent will be offered for prizes.

Article 7: Notification & Prize Distribution
Winners will be notified by email and/or SMS, and their names may be displayed on the Horse Development Facebook page. They will be contacted via email to provide their full contact details. If winners fail to respond within seven business days, their prize will be forfeited.The Organizer is not responsible for:
• Incorrect email or postal addresses,
• Any technical issues preventing email notifications from being delivered correctly.
Unreachable winners are not entitled to any prize, compensation, or indemnity. Likewise, it is not the responsibility of the organizer to search for contact details of winners who cannot be contacted due to an invalid or illegible email address, or an incorrect postal address.

Prizes are personal and non-transferable. They cannot be exchanged or replaced by another reward.

Article 8: Promotional Use
By accepting their prize, winners authorize the Organizer to use their names, brands, or social denominations for promotional purposes on any chosen medium, without entitling them to any additional compensation beyond the prize won.

Article 9: Personal Data
Personal data collected in the Contest is recorded and used by the Organizer exclusively for Contest participation and prize allocation.
In accordance with data protection laws, Participants have the right to access, rectify, or delete their personal data. Any request should be sent to: SARL HORSE DEVELOPMENT – 76B ALLEE DES TILLEULS – 42680 ST MARCELLIN EN FOREZ – France.

Article 10: Liability
Participants acknowledge and accept that the Organizer’s sole obligation is to conduct the random draw from valid Contest entries and award prizes to winners per these Rules.
The Organizer is not responsible for:
• Technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind,
• Potential risks of contamination by viruses circulating on the internet,
• Unprotected data from potential misappropriation.
Participation implies acceptance of the characteristics and limitations of the internet, including performance issues, response times, and data transmission reliability.

Article 11: Force Majeure / Reservations
The Organizer reserves the right to verify compliance with these Rules and eliminate any participant providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
The Organizer will not be held liable if unforeseen circumstances (force majeure) or external factors require the Contest to be modified, shortened, or canceled.
If external interference (fraud, cyber-attacks, technical failures, etc.) affects the Contest’s integrity, the Organizer reserves the right to modify, cancel, or suspend it.
Participants waive all claims against the Organizer regarding such situations.

Article 12: Disputes
These Rules are governed by French law. Any dispute regarding the Contest or its interpretation will be resolved exclusively by the Organizer. No telephone inquiries regarding the Rules’ application will be answered. Any contestation must be submitted in writing to: SARL HORSE DEVELOPMENT – 76B ALLEE DES TILLEULS – 42680 ST MARCELLIN EN FOREZ – France.
No dispute will be considered more than eight days after the Contest closes.

Article 13: Access to the Rules
The Contest Rules are available online on the Horse Development website throughout the Contest duration. A copy of the Rules can be requested free of charge by email at contact@horse-development.fr.
